Job Title: Executive Director

Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of Moorhead Youth Baseball. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, financial management, program development, fundraising, and representation of the organization. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors and Baseball Committee to ensure the organization's mission and objectives are achieved.
Ideal Candidate/Desired Qualifications:
· Has an understanding of youth baseball or a level higher as a coach, general manager, administrator, umpire, or volunteer. Players ages will range from 5-15 years old.
· Has demonstrated effective administrative skills. The candidate will be responsible for interacting and communicating with approximately 50 teams, which includes parents, players, coaches, umpires and representative of other organization.
· Has demonstrated effective time management and communication skills. The candidate will have deadlines to meet and meetings to attend where effective verbal communication skills will be required.
· Has the ability to work flexible and irregular hours.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and member families.
· Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
· The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of Moorhead Youth Baseball Association. Coordinating all of the day-to-day operations of the organization.
· The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors regarding operations, financials, planning, & fundraising.
· The Executive Director will work with the Baseball Committee on team selection, tournament and game scheduling, camps, & clinics.
· Key role in fundraising for annual sponsorships and facility fundraising campaigns
· Registration setup, billing, and collection of player fees.
· Oversight of Organization’s website, email and social media accounts.
· Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization
· Primary relationship with City of Moorhead, Concordia College, and other youth baseball organizations
· Oversee concession stand manager and operations.
Base Salary $40k - $50k depending on experience with potential for further earnings.
